What is FinBoard? A financial copilot that never takes the wheel
What FinBoard is and why we call it a copilot: one dashboard for your banks, multi-currency investments, crypto and budgets via Open Banking, where the decisions stay yours. Who it's for — and who doesn't need it.

Quick question: how much money do you have, in total, right now?
If your honest answer is "give me a few minutes", you're not alone. You'd open your main bank app, then the second one, then your broker, then your crypto app — and then there's the spreadsheet you update whenever you remember.
That's not a crisis. It's scattered data, which is far more boring and far easier to fix.
The problem isn't money, it's where it lives
Our newsletter community is 31,000+ people strong, and the question we hear most isn't "how much do I have?". It's "where is it all?".
When your finances are spread across 5 places that don't talk to each other, every simple question turns into a small research project. So it gets postponed.
What FinBoard does
FinBoard brings your bank accounts, multi-currency investments, crypto and budgets into a single dashboard you can arrange block by block.
Bank data arrives through Open Banking: you approve the connection on your own bank's website, and the dashboard receives your balances and transactions. No manual copying, and you never hand over your password. We explain exactly what you're approving in what you authorise when you connect your bank.
Why "copilot"
A copilot doesn't drive. They sit next to you, read the whole map and point out what you can't see from the driver's seat. Two things follow from that.
Decisions stay with you. FinBoard won't tell you where to put your money or promise any outcome. It shows you the full picture and walks alongside you while you set it up your way.
The real value is not starting from scratch. Knowing your total is useful. Not having to rebuild it every time you want to look at it is what actually saves time — and it changes how often you look.
Who it's for
It makes sense if your money sits in more than one place: two banks, a broker or funds, some crypto or a second currency, and a spreadsheet that's always a month behind. If everything is in one account, your bank's app is probably enough — and that's fine.
What it isn't
FinBoard isn't a bank, doesn't move your money and doesn't make personalised investment recommendations. More on that in what a finance dashboard doesn't do.
