VUAA and CSPX are interchangeable in practice. VUSA is the main option if you want an S&P 500 ETF that pays dividends.
How to buy it from Spain
Both classes trade in euros on Xetra and Borsa Italiana (VUAA, VUSA). VUSA also trades on Euronext Amsterdam; VUAA does not.
As an ETF, it is outside the Spanish tax-free switching regime: selling it to buy something else realises the gain. If that matters to you, the index-fund alternatives are listed on the index page.
Keep it in view with the rest of your money
If you hold VUSA, the dividends land in a cash account; tracking both in one place shows your real total return.

Frequently asked questions
Is VUAA the European VOO?
In spirit, yes: same issuer, same index. But it is a separate Irish fund with a higher TER (0.07% vs 0.03%) and different tax treatment. See VOO from Europe.
