A few days ago we told you that FinBoard had been selected for Santander X 100. On 13 October the community made it official: Santander X 100 introduced its 20 new companies — 11 startups, 8 SMEs and one micro-enterprise — joining through the Way to Santander X 100 path, and FinBoard is on the startup list.

How Santander X introduces us

It's always useful to see how someone from the outside describes you. In the announcement, Santander X describes FinBoard as a SaaS platform for financial analysis and visualisation that brings together and standardises your portfolios across banks, brokers, exchanges and wallets, with real-time data, financial KPIs and customisable dashboards.

That's exactly what we're trying to build: one view of all your money, wherever it lives, without copying numbers by hand from one app to another.

Who we're joining alongside

The cohort is wonderfully mixed: companies that assess electric-vehicle battery health, AI software for real estate agencies, property portfolio management, data analytics, logistics visibility, and biomaterials replacing petroleum-based ones. What they share, according to the programme, is strong potential to scale, innovative solutions, and the capacity to accelerate digitalisation and growth.

For us, sharing a community with people solving such different problems is part of the value: many of a startup's hard questions — how to sell, how to hire, how to fund growth — are the same in any sector.

What comes next

Nothing changes where it matters: FinBoard stays independent, Santander doesn't invest in or take part in the product, your bank connection stays read-only under PSD2, and the free plan is still there. What does change is that we now have access to mentors, experts and the community's network to grow more wisely.

We'll share what we learn along the way. And if you haven't tried FinBoard yet, now's a good time.
